Special Edition CD/DVD Release
& Intimate Electric Proms Performance

We're happy to announce that Goldfrapp are releasing a Special Edition of the Seventh Tree album on Mute, hitting the streets on 27 October. Coming out on CD with a bonus DVD, the Special Edition will contain the complete original album on CD plus new album artwork and photos. The DVD contains tracks recorded live on the Summer Solstice at the magnificent De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill on Sea earlier this year, plus backstage footage from the show. The DVD also features the videos for hit singles A&E, Happiness (nominated for a Q Award - click here to vote) and Caravan Girl as well as TV performances of Clowns and Road to Somewhere.

Not only that, we can also announce a very special Goldfrapp performance. As part of the BBC Electric Proms season, Goldfrapp will perform an exclusive set at Cecil Sharp House, home to the English Folk & Dance Society in London, on 22 October. This will be Goldfrapp's most intimate show to date, in front of an audience of only 200 people. If you'd like to be part of this special experience, tickets go on sale at 10 am tomorrow morning (Wednesday 17 September) at www.bbc.co.uk/electricproms/2008/artists/goldfrapp
Remember tickets are limited and likely to sell out very quickly.

And finally, we can confirm the Goldfrapp's iTunes Originals session will be available to download from 30 September. The package includes new session versions recorded at New York City's Electric Lady Studios earlier this year, and selected album tracks (from across all four Goldfrapp albums) as well as commentary and anecdotes from the band.
